UAS4STEM Drone Challenge

Picture
The UAS4STEM program is an exciting and educational initiative designed to inspire young minds to explore the world of drone engineering and aeronautics. Sponsored by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), this program provides students with the opportunity to work together as a team, develop technical skills, and compete in national drone competitions.

The  Scio Flyers are committed to fostering a collaborative learning environment where students can thrive and have entered the competition and are actively preparing for the 2025 challenge.

We're currently in the process of assembling our team. The Scio Flyers team will consist of students from various Ann Arbor area schools and grade levels, ranging from middle school to high school. The team will be lead by  a  dedicated group of mentors and advisors with years of experience in model aviation.

Join Us!

We welcome students, aged 11 to 19, of all experience levels to join our team. Whether you’re a seasoned coder or new to the world of drones, the  program is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Contact Jim for more information!
